I don't know how this is so highly rated on Goodreads. I couldn't even get past page 70! Everything that I have read up to this point had been so mind numbingly bland, with characters seemingly appearing out of nowhere at every point. It's both overwhelming and not overwhelming at the same time. Maybe it picks up dramatically at the halfway point, but for a book to be good in my eyes it has to draw you in by at least the first FIFTY PAGES at the MOST. I was very disappointed, and I got to say, I do love mystery books but this one certainly does not live up to the hype. Just my two cents.
