So, this book wasn't as good as I expected. I liked the first book of the series, and the second was even better — but this one missed the mark. I loved the action that "A Gambling Man" brought to the table, and it seemed like David Baldacci scaled that back a ton with this. Maybe I'm just bored of his books now, but the mysteries felt so boring too. I still can't guess the plot twists, but they feel less and less significant as I read on. I DNF'ed this book halfway through, and I was very disappointed. Baldacci is a very good writer, but this one felt rushed.
